Side Note
In my research, I noticed that it seems that all Hong Kong lecturers are required to undergo training to acquire certification to teach. My impression is that Singapore lecturers require no teaching qualification to teach at the tertiary level. I personally feel that while their industry experience are relevant and valuable, it would be wonderful if they are also trained to teach. Reference: https://www.cetl.hku.hk/certificate-courses/
